Bay Area Rapper The Jacka Gunned Down In Oakland

Bay Area rapper The Jacka (born Dominic Newton) who got his start rapping alongside his group The Mob Figaz (AP-9. Husalah, Fed-X, and Rydah J. Klyde) in the late 90’s was gunned down at 94th and Mac Arthur Monday night (Feb. 2) in Oakland around 8:15 p.m.

The Jacka also released a handful of mixtapes and compilation albums. The rapper also recorded 5 albums with the Mob Figaz, including a reunion record released in 2011.
